GOOD, BECAUSE SOME OF IT I'M DUMPING HERE. I don't think I've ever felt so creatively fulfilled, just to get all sappy and weird here.
He is. All of my co-workers are about as awesome, too. I used to have posts every once and while about them. Basically, I've never worked anywhere else where I could make fisting jokes with the people I work with.
The absolute topper of it all was an article comparing the fashion styles of Pat Nixon and Jackie Kennedy. There Jackie is, in now iconic outfits, compared to Pat who was only really remembered for her alcoholism (I'd be the same if I married Nixon).
This October will mark my seventh year there, and it really doesn't feel like it's been that long. It totally is. For instance, the storage basement has all of the books and media that aren't in as high circulation as others are, but they can still be checked out; patrons just have to request them. Recently, I took much enjoyment in reading the official film book on Tim Burton's Batman. Young, skinny Tim photographed on set with a blurb about how he was the only director "with it" enough to make the Batman film brought me a certain level of joy.
