Wow, this was a wonderful read <3 It's both a heartwarming and heartbreaking scene (much like so many aspects of their relationship, really), considering what is to come. The descriptions are riveting and you've made me fall in love with them even more -- Fredrick's adorkable determination and awkwardness when it comes to Shosanna, and Shosanna's own tragic determination and conflict.

These two have such potential and depth to be explored, and now I feel less crazy for shipping it after seeing the movie!

It's been said already, but:
"Besides, what is the love of many compared to the love of one?"
was a particularly wrenching line.
