I love that the German war hero and the Jewish girl seeking vengeance are the ones who show remorse and humanity.

In the script it states that her heart broke for him, but even though she was dying, Shosanna still forced herself to get up make the final reel change (QT compared it to climbing Piz Palu) and take out the Third Reich. I love her determination and that no matter what, her plan must be executed.
