She absolutely was. Her beauty got in the way of her talent in the '70s, and I'm glad Farrah wasn't content to sit on the sidelines and allow that to fuel her career. Extremities and The Burning Bed finally cemented her immense talent for many in the '80s, but I think anything she appeared in previously can verify that. She had such a vulnerability and gentle humor that came across rather well, but you know she could also beat your ass if she had to. All of my favorite '70s icons are dying and I'm not fond of it. Burt Reynolds and Keith Carradine had better stick around for another 20 years.
I greatly appreciated Splash, Temple of Doom, and Batman as a child for entirely different reasons from other little girls. I thought it'd be really great if Kim were in her underwear and made out with Batman.
