I don't want to come off as a creepy Nazi fetishist (I absolutely do not and find fault with such a thing), but I feel the same way you do about the two of them. I've heard many times since the film opened that to have sympathy for Fredrick and to feel that there was something between he and Shosanna means that you're into abusive men, etc., etc., but even Tarantino said that he didn't want to make the film easy for anyone and wants viewers to feel conflicted.

My heart sank with hers when he started talking about Goebbels and I wish Fredrick knew who Shosanna was and what she went through, but by then, it was too late and there was no going back.

Ramble ramble ramble, but it was a welcomed relief to have the Bear Jew come back in after their deaths.

Anywho, I'm glad QT confirmed what I felt.
