What appealed to me was that she had a layout in Maxim, but she was dressed like a cross between Grace Jones and Wendy O. Williams. She was so forward and blunt in the interview by saying that she wasn't going to fit the social norm of what men found attractive, but challenge that so they broaden their narrow perception of what an attractive woman is.
It reminds me of what a fan said about Grace Jones (whom I love), "Grace Jones doesn't scare men, Grace Jones scares idiots."
I appreciate that Lady GaGa is the same way.
