I made banners/headers of Shosanna/Fredrick/Mélanie Laurent/Daniel Brühl. I made her as a haunting figure (or spectre, if you will) as he contemplates. 9 in total, 750 x 300.
I like working in black with white with the graphics for its lovely simplicity, but to dictate how others can modify to fit their own journals and layouts would be a bit obnoxious, I think. The fact that others would even want to use what I make is compliment enough.
Do feel complimented; you do lovely work! And thank you!
Black and white does suit your journal well :). For me, the incongruity of pink reflects their relationship—if I ship them at all, it's never in a true loving fashion; it's dub-con, rough and nasty. Romeo and Juliet? I think not :P.
As much of a sap as I am over them, it is nice to know that the banners/headers can fit with others' views of them. The major reason I never cared to pursue a career in graphic design was because I'd have to create for someone else's standards; something I've noticed from from creating stuff nad posting it here is that I'm probably more capable of doing that than I thought.
