This is really beautiful and simplistic in that classical novel sense. I love the examination of the lives they live in the film, and the one they make together.

"Doesn't it frighten you sometimes?" Fredrick asked of her, softly, earnestly.

That line is particularly affecting. It feels like the vocalization of everything about Fredrick and Shosanna, the sort of thing Fredrick can't say within the reality of the film.
