Oh, yes, I love hearing Dan speak French (along with Spanish, and I love how his accented English sounds). I think it's because Fred speaks it so much in order to communicate with Sho that I love the idea of him speaking German to her intimately. I don't, but one of my close friends does (she's going back to Germany for the second time next year to study abroad), and she's basically my English-to-German dictionary.
Ha! Here's some random useless for you too: Due to a delightfully, contorted family history, my dad has commented that our surname should probably actually be Hopper. So I asked him if we could be related to Dennis Hopper, and he wouldn't doubt that.
I was glad to include her as I wrapped up the loose ends in Paris. It worked better to have Shosanna to see such an atrocity committed against someone she knew, even if just barely. Thank you! Details are very important to me, which is a major part of why writing and updating KFAD can take so much time, as everything has to fit together and flow well. And to sound pretentious, I took art lessons for a number of years as a child, and it was stressed to us over and over to pay attention to detail.
Cate was good, wasn't she? I love her in indie films (just like with Reese Witherspoon; she was excellent in edgy, indie films). Renee is just as mysterious in real life. She gained quite a few fans from that segment and hardly anything can be found about her.
