I definitely haven't read that interview yet. The only one I read where she mentions Damien is one where she talks about doing Basterds in general and mentions she's crazy about him in the end. (She also said she was very suprised when she discovered that Quentin put some "really romantic" music on her death scene - meaning our anthem Un Amico, I presume).
