Favorite graphics made in 2011
A retrospective post of the things I've made this year of which I'm most fond. Image heavy, so give it time to load.
So, I'm always dicking around in photoshop. Out of all the things I've ended up making this year, these are my favorites:
Daniel Brühl/Mélanie Laurent/Shosanna Dreyfus/Fredrick Zoller.

I did! I've been meaning to PM you about that, because it seriously got me all choked up (in the best way possible).

Happy New Year! So far, it's been good to me. Hopefully that keeps going 'til the end of December.
Here's the secret to my graphics making: Dicking around in photoshop until I like what I'm looking at. It can be frustrating and time consuming, but it's worked for me so far.

So much loveliness! I've been meaning to ask, where does that image of Aviva!Mel come from? She looks very fetching with dark hair.

Thank you kindly! Those images are from one of her earlier films, La Chambre des Morts. I used behind-the-scenes stills. Dark hair is a great look for her, especially in contrast with her eyes. This magazine scan, in particular, is what kick-started my image of a dark-haired Aviva.

As always, thank you. You really do keep me going with all of this, because I know I'm doing well if you enjoy what I'm making! I've been turning my focus on writing more, but of course, I can't keep myself from not opening photoshop.
So far, so good, so hopefully it keeps getting better. I hope yours is going well, too! ♥
