I haven't seen Under the Hood yet, though I do know that the dvd includes some behind the scenes footage of Watchmen, some of which involves Adrian being awesome.

I loved the moral ambiguity; every one lives by their own code of ethics like the rest of us, and to be forced to intimately know characters who clash agianst your own morals was uncomfortable, but necessary and realistic. People unfamiliar with the novel who hated the film were most likely offended by that, and I even heard some of the angry reactions in the theater when I saw the film.
What amused me most, however, were the people cheering for Rorschach but then being disgusted by Adrian. One such fellow in the audience was muttering to his girlfriend over the fact that Adrian not only succeeded, but lived.

I still have Adrian fic and Terminator Salvation smut to get to, but a Nyota/Manhattan fic would be a wondrous challenge. Hopefully my head won't explode from trying to write Jon correctly.

I think the people who blindly fawn over Rorschach are doing it wrong. Period.
