A Basterd's work is never done.
I've received some (unexpected) positive feedback for my Inglourious Basterds icons, so I'll just go ahead and post them all here:

*takes a deep breath* willnotsqeewillnotsqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

ILU. I LOVE THIS MOVIE. THIS FANDOM. AND I'VE ONLY BEEN HERE FOR THREE DAYS. I went to see it again when I saw this in my inbox. I overloaded myself. XD I'M GOING TO SEE IT AGAIN ANYWAY, WHEN I GO SEE STAR TREK. I might need to call an ambulance on side by though...

Oh and question! Do you know anyone who has a screencap of the image before and after he spots Hitler? I want to make an icon, but ugh. My screencapping/searching skills are fail.

I love Quentin Tarantino's films as it is, but Inglourious Basterds is my favorite film of his forever and ever now (which is difficult, since I have Reservoir Dogs memorized). I've seen IB three times now, and to tie-in with Star Trek (which I loved too much too), my dad leaned over to me and whispered, "Is that Spock?" when Eli came on screen.

I don't have caps of that scene, but have you tried [livejournal.com profile] 100_scalps? They're a friendly little community for the film and they have immense Donny love, so someone should be able to help you out.

As do I! I haven't seen all of them, but I know once I do, IB will probably always been my favorite. I loved the film AND the soundtrack. Usually it's either or for me. I could only find fault with what the characters did, but that was the whole point! I WANTED THEM TO LIVE. XD

LOL, your dad, he lives in my brain. I was on an ST kick when I went to see it (I had just bought the film novelization) and I knew it was Eli, but my brain still screamed "SPOCK/ZACH W/A BASEBALL BAT!!!!!!!!!1!". >.>

No, I haven't, but that was my next stop! Thanks for the rec, too! *glomps before running off*

I love Tarantino's use of music in film, very few directors are as effective as music is relegated to the background too often. Other than IB, the soundtracks for Death Proof and Kill Bill are excellent too. Something I love about QT is that he knows how to write three dimensional characters, so that no matter where they land on the moral compass, you absolutely fall in love with them ♥

Have you heard the audiobook adaptation of Star Trek as read by ZQ? His Bones is hilariously grouchy and he even makes noises for the monsters.

I'm glad I could be somewhat if a help, even if it's just recommending IB communities. It may not be up your alley, but I started a community this morning for Shosanna/Fredrick, [livejournal.com profile] un_amico.

Ozymandias greets you with open arms, Comedian!

Yes, Adrian Veidt is a fan of Shosanna/Fredrick, too.
