WTF innards pt. 2/ "He's drooooooownin'!"
So Becca ([livejournal.com profile] germanpanther) got tattooed Thursday night, at the ever-reliable Tattoo Tech (where I got my work done). Stupid me forgot my new little digital camera which I have yet to use, so when I see her Monday I'll photograph it.

What could it be of? Why, Paul Simonon's pistol, of course! Though this go-around, it's bigger and shinier; talk about your pistol-envy.

She also got it in her head that she needs new icons, as she is currently over-loaded on Mr. Simonon. And what could she want now? Sid and Nancy, of course. I can do that, so I did. But now I really like what I made, but I cannot bear to part with what I currently have. Delete Godunov? In the words of Tom Noonan as Frankenstein in Monster Squad, "BOGUS!"

For better or for worse, here they are:

We love to quote Gary Oldman as Sid Vicious lately, and I think the lovely quip at Mr. Rotten worked quite well in icon form featuring the real deal. I was this close to making one up of Sid's Action Man going into the sink, but I refrained.

As for my WTF innards, it seems I upset them with something I ate Thursday night when I came home from my grand Becca adventure. It wasn't past expiration, but my mom deduced that it may not have been frozen properly. She prefers grocery shopping at Meijer, but she's not fond of how they treat their frozen food section. Whatever the case may be, I spent Thursday night and early Friday morning (and now Friday night, early Saturday morning) throwing up. I'm feeling better now, and whiled away my nauseated hours waiting to vomit whipping up the above icons.

Whine, whine, whine. I'm sticking to liquids for the rest of the day.

Awwwww.
OMG I love the icons! They make me feel funny... you know where. ;)
Sorry to hear that you're sick!!! That really sucks Mick nutsack. You poor thing. Hopefully you're feeling better this wonderful Sunday afternoon. My tattoo is scabbing up nicely... and by nicely, I mean it looks gross and crusty despite my constant moisturizing and washing. Well, not constant. As much as I'm supposed to. But it's healing really well despite the fact that it's in a place where if I take a step and my chest jiggles in the least bit, it's enough to make me want to pee myself, if only a little.
See you Monday! I hope to be bringing in some delightful vegetarian home-made burritos m'self for lunch then. My fam showed me how to make them. They're great.

Re: Awwwww.
Up your ass!

I recovered nicely yesterday. I mainly stuck to liquids, but my parents left half a bag of those little powdered donuts and I ate all of them with no ill effects.

My Criterion Collection Sid and Nancy came in too. The extras are great, which include the full interview of the two, a making of documentary from when filming began (which has lots of great footage of Gary), the infamous Sex Pistols' 1976 interview on British television, and a phone interview with Sid after he was hospitalized for ingesting 6 valium with alcohol on the airplane. He was lonely, mad at Johnny, and wanted a big pile of Marvel comics♥

I went with your suggestion as well and made two Sid & Nancy videos for my portfolio. 5 hours in total spent making them, and I'm pleased with how they turned out. And I may just have to dump more of my current icons for Sid & Nancy, as they're far too appealing. I may just even make some of Wally from the film.

"I got my own stuff to do!"
I'm feeling much better now, which is a relief. I've always strived to take care of myself, but ever since I was a child, I've gotten sick very easily.

There is so much to quote from Sid and Nancy, it's almost ridiculous. Currently, Wally's facial expressions are cracking us up.
And if I ever feel like I'm rambling too much, I'm reminded of that old bellhop. "Bob Dylan was born here."

Nancy: Fuck you grandma...

Just for fun, like you don't know them all already! :)
