I hear you on delicate, quirky, and intellectual. I think that's why I like Robby Benson and his modern day heir Emile Hirsch so much.

Oh Lord, I love Robby Benson. MST3K needed to make fun of more Benson films, as it was a delight just to watch him in City Limits. And speaking of Emile, I still gotta see Milk. Our local artfag theater ran it for a month, but now they're showing The Wrestler; I have no interest at all in modern Mickey Rourke (it's the '80s or nothing).
