The first two Terminator films are genuinely great, as well as being highly iconic. I LOVE the character of Kyle Reese and Anton was amazing playing the teenage version of him. Also, let Michael Biehn as adult Kyle Reese convince you:

I've never written fan fiction, but Terminator Salvation is inspiring me to write some smut.

OH! First picture with Christian Bale? So. Damn. Cute.

He's like all sweet but trying to be fierce and... awww. Christian better look after him. Even if he does grow up to be awesome cyborg-killer. (I wikipedia'd it! He's Christian Bales characters father! THAT IS SO WEIRD.)

Smut? Ohhh. Who with?

YES! He's gotta protect his teen dad but can't tell Kyle that bit of information, so John stresses how important it is that he stay alive for the sake of the resistance.

I want to write smut between the characters of Marcus Wright and Blair Williams; there's even an extremely plausible part where in the film where it could take place. They were written to be love interests for each other in the film's script, though it's bittersweet and not happy times like S/U.

Marcus' friendship with Kyle is wonderful, too. Due to tragic mistakes in his past, Marcus is seeking to redeem himself by helping those who help him. Kyle and Blair are all he's got, so he's extremely protective of them.

People being protective of Anton = me in a quivering mess of joy and squee on the floor.

Ok. I surrender. I will see movie.

Marcus is very intent on protecting them, but Kyle and Blair save him quite a few times, too. Everyone's pretty much a badass, including the little mute girl Kyle looks after.

After you see Salvation, I recommend watching Terminator, so you can see all of Michael Biehn's quirks and mannerisms that Anton perfectly re-created.

It turns me into a puddle over knowing that Anton intently watched Michael Biehn just to get the character down. It's also good to know that Kyle Reese was basically born beautiful and never had an awkward stage growing up.

Also, re: being born beautiful: ANTON YOU BASTARD WHY MUST YOU TAUNT ALL THOSE TEENS NOT BORN WITH GODLY GORGEOUSNESS?

I took three of my friends with me to see TS Saturday night and at the end, my friend looked at her boyfriend and stated simply,"You've been replaced. I have a new favorite person in the world now."
We agreed, however, that if she ends up kidnapping him, I and a sexy robot friend would have to rescue Anton and blow up her house.
