ext_439487: Quentin Tarantino's tragic lovers (Eli Roth is a basterd)

I'm terribly in love all of the cast, primarily Mélanie, Diane (not even Matthew could make me change my layout), Daniel, and Fassbender (who needs to gay it up with Matthew). I know that many critics have analyzed Tarantino's meaning behind the film, but he said point-blank, that it's about killing Nazis and cannot understand how his film is cruel to them. He purposely made some of them sympathetic, to point out that German =/= Nazi and made the rest of them 3-dimensional which is practically unheard of in the majority of war films. QT was just tired of WWII and Holocaust films having someone else bravely come in to rescue the Jews and he's knows it's historically inaccurate, but he wanted to change the general concept/structure of war films.

I've been a fan of QT for years, and I LOVE how he writes women; he and James Cameron are the only modern male directors to write powerful women who are also both human and relatable. And IB turned me into an idiot, as I've joined nearly every IB community on LJ, started one of my own, and now write fan fiction (which is okay, as Eli has come out and said that he and QT read the IB fan fiction on LJ).

Matthew's mere presence in that bar would've caused Hellstrom to have a stroke due to the fact that the finest specimen in human history is non-Aryan and British.
