It's a GQ Motherfuckers party game.

Everyone is utterly brilliant in this scene. Spoiler-free, so if you've not seen Inglourious Basterds yet, you can still watch it. And I suggest you do:

Wicki's card reads Brigitte Helm; she was a talented German actress well-known for her role as Maria in Fritz Lang's masterpiece Metropolis.

Keep in mind that Hitler was a fan of Fritz Lang's work and King Kong was one of his other favorites, as well. It must also be noted that Giorgio Moroder made his own tribute to Metropolis by adding color tinting, previously missing scenes, and a score which included the likes of Freddie Mercuruy (the video for Radio GaGa is based off of Metropolis) and Adam Ant, amongst others. Moroder was also the composer of the soundtrack for Cat People, and its theme sung by David Bowie was used to great effect in Inglourious Basterds.

August was just wonderful as Major Hellstrom, wasn't he? I love how he drags out the 't' at the end of 'orient'.

Eli is pretty much QT's life-partner these days, so he'd know his preferences. Seriously though, I love that they're enthusiastic about the fan response to their film and characters, as most actors and directors would probably start crying.

Hellstrom needs some action too:

I... I read that first sentence, about being life partners and knowing each others preferences, and my first thought was... "that could be hot."

Kill me. Do it now.

Preferably while I stand here hypnotised by your gif. Where is that from? And hell yes, Hellstrom needs some loving. That boy is made of unsatisfied sexual tension.

Love In Thoughts (Was nützt die Liebe in Gedanken), starring August Diehl, Daniel, andThure Lindhardt (the blonde August is sucking face with). August and Daniel are friends and Daniel is in love with August's sister and August is in love with Thure, who plays the boyfriend of August's sister.
It's an unhappy situation, but so very beautiful to watch and listen to.

QT and Roth as a doddering old couple have old people arguments and owning a bunch of cats amuses me.

Was nutzt die liebe in gedanken!!!=D

Aw, I find Thure's tooth-gap charming ♥

Was nützt die Liebe in Gedanken was such a beautiful, heartbreaking film. Daniel was lovely, but I found August to be particularly gorgeous. I know the film was based on fact, thus they wanted to stay true to reality, but I wanted Günther to be happy and Paul to realize that there were women out there who were better than Hilde (especially Elli, I loved her, too!).
