I LOVE '70S MEN, GODDAMN.
My favorite male model of all time, Matt Collins; photoshoots and People magazine article.

On the left, his cover for the 1977 book, Looking Good:

A fantastic blog review of both books, lots of pictures of foxy '70s men.
He didn't appear nude or in anywhere at all within this issue of Playgirl, however, Sam Jones of Flash Gordon did, so it all works out:

Let it be known that any magazine/book featuring Matt Collins is a collector's item amongst his fanbase, so blessed be Google image search ♥

I have the Sam Jones scans (including many other Playgirl and Playboy models and Penthouse) and I can go ahead and post them in a separate post, as he deserves the attention.
Did you ever see or hear of that ridiculous made-for-television '80s film about the male model starring Jon-Erik Hexum and Joan Collins? It was based off of Matt's life (except I believe he's gay, so that whole model-sleeping-with-manager subplot didn't apply). He dropped out of show business altogether after that film, and since he always invested wisely, was most likely able to retire.
Also, this flickr user's galleries are worth a look, as he has lots of scans from '70s magazines and truly has an eye for both male and female beauty:

I love going through the old magazines at work and bothering my co-workers who are old enough to remember them.
