I can't wait for germanpanther to get back home from China for a number of reasons. One in particular is that I have no one to quote Blue Velvet with (though there was that time at work when Victoria blurted out, "Heineken? Fuck that shit!").

I also want my own personal Brad Dourif to boss around.

I love that movie. I can't watch it too often and it's one of those movies I have to be in a healthy place to watch or else it will destroy me for days. Hopper is so horrifyingly good.

I can be like that with Blue Velvet, too. Once I'm in the mood for it, I have to watch it continuously over a period of time. Dennis Hopper is so unbelievably brilliant and I love the film's ending so very much that I get choked up.

But I can't quite listen to In Dreams the same way again.
