So it seems that
piecesofalice and I were able to restore some faith in fanmixes, as we both got a wonderful mention on a blog concerning our contributions to Shosanna/Fredrick (as well as winning me over immediately by linking to Tarantino's beautiful Romeo and Juliet quote about them). The post also included a link to fantastic, Jack Kirby-style, fictional comic book covers.

Oh, my ego ♥

Check out the post HERE, as well as the rest of his blog, while you're at it.
Onto the covers! These were done as a what-if? scenario, if Tarantino's film were released in the 1970s, with each chapter adapted into a comic book by Jack Kirby. Simply put, these are AMAZING. They look like something I'd discover at a local flea market, Trader's World and then my friends would look at me funny as I'd work myself up in a tizzy over them:

I WANT TO MARRY THIS ONE:

My only qualm with this one is that it's Fredrick, not Frederick. I also like how apprehensive Shosanna appears to be. And Francesca's poodle is quite pleased:

THIS ONE IS AWESOME, TOO. BAR GLOBE!:

Also, Daniel of TEN THINGS I LEARNT FROM THIS WEEK'S KERRANG, hello, if you're reading this.
