Perspectives on German cinema according to my co-worker.

I'm always talking with my co-worker Clint about something, and he and I recently talked about German cinema and Daniel Brühl.

Me: "He's the best actor in Germany today!"

Clint: "Best actor in Germany?"

Me: "The best actor in modern German cinema, yes."

Clint: "That's like being the best actor in Montana. How many people live in Germany, anyway? 318?"

He makes me think heterosexual thoughts.

He might also produce Melanie's film (they discussed working together when working on IB), and the thought of those two excites me like Roy Orbison excites Frank Booth ♥

I like it, but I was surprised at first because you kept your other default for so long that I had to get used to the change. It's a drawing of you, correct?

Just like Joan Jett does for me!

Excellent comparison. I might have to steal that.

Yeah; my old one had been there for a while. It's a sketch by [livejournal.com profile] laymelow. I don't think it's bad, on the whole, particularly given that he's never met me in the flesh.

Joan Jett seems to have the magical power to make everyone want her and I question those who don't. Of course, Melanie generally accompanies Daniel in said thoughts, but they're still as close to hetero as I'll get.

I just thought of smearing lipstick all over my face and everything, and then it's all downhill/awesome from there.

It has character to it.

I'm also reminded of the fact that I've not properly drawn in years (doodling in the margins of my research notes doesn't quite count).

I know! God, how do women stay straight in the face of her blistering sex appeal? I mean, look at this! - http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a256/Emperor_Diello/bloo%20bloo%20bloo%20bloo/glorious.jpg

Did I ever mention that I actually saw her in concert once? Gahhh. It's even stronger in person.

Ooh! Speaking of things taking place in person, did you see my entry on going to Dealey Plaza?
