The script is so beautifully written, Quentin's little descriptions and side comments really tie it all together. You've incorporated them very well here. :D
MY FAVOURITES
Gottdam, where's my giant sparkle text when I need it?
I love scripts and text because you get to read all the emotions and descriptions that you may have missed while watching the film.
I really liked these.

The last one is absolutely perfect. ♥
Thank you! I love all of those wonderful little details and his absolute enthusiasm for film; all of it, along with his interviews and the actors' performances, helped to give me a more thorough understanding (and love) of Shosanna and Fredrick.
I don't know, but your large font and capslock work just as well ♥
Thank you!
I love to do the same, especially when I absolutely fall in love with a film (which is frequently). With IB, I loved how Quentin trusted his actors enough to convey so much without having to say a thing and relied more on subtlety, which made their performances all the more powerful.

Oh, definitely! It's my favorite line out of the entire script, as it perfectly and succinctly speaks volumes. ♥
WONDERFUL!
Also, your username is adorable.

I was initially going to create one for their exchange in the cafe, but then I got a little carried away (and I love, love, love that single line from the projection booth scene).

IB - the gift that keeps on giving :D
Keep on getting creative, I'm loving your results.

Mélanie, Daniel, and Tarantino have certainly given me plenty to work with!
Thank you ♥
I'm currently plotting out yet another post, full of loveliness:

It'll make more sense when I'm done with it.

I'm intrigued! Can't wait to see the rest :D
Oh my god, I felt kind of weird when I've taken a liking to them but glad I'm not alone. Your graphics encourage me, you know :P
No need to feel weird! Quentin has stated repeatedly that they're his Romeo and Juliet and that Fredrick genuinely loved her. Basically, they're just a couple of kids damaged by the war.
Your graphics encourage me, you know :P
I do what I can ♥
If you're interested, I wrote two analyzations on them:
A Manifesto
The Projection Booth

Trust me when I say this, I spent my entire weekend re-watching Basterds and Shosanne/Fredrick videos on youtube and reading your analyzations. I'm already done with A Manifesto, moved on to The Projection Booth and all I can say is wow. A big wow at that.
I saw IB three times in the theater, and it was by the third viewing that I fully adored Shosanna/Fredrick and appreciated the subtlety of Daniel and Mélanie's performances. Both of them are so incredibly moving and as far as modern cinema is concerned, I've not been moved like that in quite some time. By writing the analyzations, aside from allowing me to focus on the characters and acting to better appreciate them, I've also set out to help answer any questions other fans might have, as having an actual discussion on the two in the main communities usually leads to calling Fredrick a sociopathic Nazi and leaving it at that. There were also so many invaluable insights from Quentin, Mélanie, and Daniel, that I wanted to make sure every bit of information was covered.
I don't know if fan fiction is an interest of yours, but if you want to, I've written quite a bit of Shosanna/Fredrick: http://suspiriorum.livejournal.com/tag/fic:%20shosanna/fredrick

I had no expectation of actually being interested in a "couple" when I watched IB at all, it was just another Tarantino movie for me and by the end of it, I was like "...Is something wrong with me? Am I the only person that actually payed attention to that during the entire movie?" but seeing how you've captured every moment and possible interview I could never have found otherwise is really...consoling and, well, definitely helps you understand the characters more (since there's more to let's say, Fredrick than just being called a sociopathic Nazi, as you've made it clear)...but it all depends on if the person wants to go that deep :)
I already did read part one and two (as I said, my weekend consisted of nothing more :P) but I plan to continue as soon as I get a History exam I have off my chest. In the meantime, *claps*

Neither did I! As soon as Fredrick approached Shosanna, I figured that Tarantino was up to something. And by the of the film, I was entirely in love with all of it, but I felt particularly sad over Shosanna and Fredrick. I was a bit unsettled by that, but trying to view Fredrick so simplistically didn't feel right. All I could find of any kind of discussions about the film consisted of dismissing Fredrick as a Nazi, but there were a couple others on the imdb board for IB who felt as I did. They led me to an interview with Quentin when he first called them Romeo and Juliet, and after lots of searching, I found the rest. It's all been wonderfully vindicating and the fans who hate Fredrick always get upset at those quotes (which amuses me).
I hope all goes well with your History exam! ♥

Aw, really? I haven't been roaming around IB communities enough to read the discussions, but I loved Fredrick. Maybe it's Daniel's charms that have gotten to me :D Besides, a lot of people love Landa so I don't see why they should hate Fredrick. And Quentin's quotes on the two are too precious. Finding out that he loved their death scene so much was seriously awesome.

That's what I keep saying! But apparently, Fredrick's worse than Hitler. I generally stay out of the communities because of the general attitude towards Fredrick; I just post my stuff to them and then run off.
IB was my first film of Daniel's, and he completely won me over. Fredrick was just a sweet boy, damaged by the war like Shosanna. I don't think anyone could have played Fredrick as well as Daniel, as he brought a lot of sensitivity to the role. The Shosanna/Fredrick dynamic wasn't originally intended in the script, but happened naturally after Quentin auditioned them together and realized what he had with the two of them.
Finding out that he loved their death scene so much was seriously awesome.
I love that so, so much. I always love knowing what my favorite directors have to say about their work and I love that Quentin has ended up confirming practically everything I've felt about IB.
