Some graphics.
So, for my own enjoyment (and perhaps yours, as well) I made a few Shosanna/Fredrick graphics utilizing some of my favorite excerpts from the Inglourious Basterds script.

It really is, isn't it? According to Quentin (pre-IB), he had been involved with six actresses he had worked with, but he refuses to name names.
She is! Lea's only done a couple small films (which have garnered her acclaim), and her brief role as Charlotte has been a big career boost for her. That reminds me of when my brother watched IB with me. He got all upset and asked me, "Are they hiding under the floorboards?", just as the camera panned down to reveal that the Dreyfus family was indeed hiding under the floorboards.

That's fine! Sometimes it can take me a while to get each part written, so knowing that you're enjoying it and that the story hasn't lost your interest is enough.

He really was, and sadly, caught in a difficult situation like Fredrick and many others. Wilhelm divides fans, too. I tire of being told that because he was an enlisted man, he was obviously a Nazi.

Oooooh! I always told my dad he must have something for Uma but my dad's pretty indifferent about such things. I wonder if something ever happened between them. I heard he called her his muse or something.
My brother thought Eli Roth was Zachary Quinto, lol. He got me all excited before watching it because I like the guy.

I got sad that he died, too, but I guess the lesson to learn there is - never call Bridget Von Hammersmark a traitor :P

Yes! He so totally does! I've noticed that his lead actresses have similar features to Uma: big eyes, angular faces, and the same kind of noses and lips (and even Chiaki Kuriyama, who played GoGo and is Japanese, has similar features). She did also refer to their working together on Kill Bill as being like a married couple, and he's repeatedly called her a goddess, as well as his muse. I want to believe that something happened between them. I also want them to get married. Her ex, Ethan Hawke, complained that he'd never be able to work with Quentin because Quentin's in love with her.
Ha! I love Quinto, too. When I took my parents to see IB, my dad whispered to me, "Is that Spock?"

Oh, definitely. Also, never have important meetings about top-secret information in basement bars.

I never knew those! That is seriously so sweet. And the fact that her ex agrees makes it even better. I bet Ethan's a shipper. I bet he'd join if a Uma/Quentin community was created.
Though I did read a quote about Quentin wanting to go through this road alone or something about not marrying until he's 60, which makes me feel sorry for him. I don't know why.
Hahaha! What I found funny is that Quinto's character Sylar in Heroes was always cutting heads open too. Only he had a fondness for the, uh, brain, rather than the scalp.

And basements are not taverns. They're just not.
http://suspiriorum.livejournal.com/: FASSY YOUR BASEMENT FUCKING SUCKS[identity profile] suspiriorum.livejournal.com on June 24th, 2010 04:27 am (UTC)
That was part of Quentin's reasoning when asked if he and Uma would ever date, that they were already like a married couple when making Kill Bill, so why do it again? Ethan practically was! He claimed that he cheated on Uma because he was convinced that she and Quentin were involved! I bet he also writes fluffy fic of Q/U and then cries bitterly.
That bums me out a little, too. But at least Quentin seems happy enough? He talked about his creative process, that it's like hiding up in the mountains; whatever happens outside of that doesn't matter (to paraphrase, he said something to the effect of, "Who gives a fuck? I'm writing!"). I found it oddly touching that according to Eli, Quentin gives good relationship advice, so that's who he goes to to talk about dating.

I never thought of that similarity before, but that is amusing! I enjoy that Eli and Zachary are aware of each other and the physical resemblance. Eli had said in an interview that Zachary is the best looking man in Hollywood.

Ha! Archie + basements = bad news. Also, tavern is a much more pleasant word than bar.

I have a feeling he'd also be a really good manip maker because he'd have all the good shots of Uma on his hand.
That is...really impressive but I'm still sad that he has to go through it alone. But what do we know? Maybe he has support. Maybe he has plans but is pushing it to a further date. I should only care about his work and he's doing damn fine on his own.

Hahaha. He'll win any eyebrow contest hands down for sure. :P

Weren't taverns supposed to have 'women' in the old times? Probably because I came across the word 'tavern whore' in books I've read too many times.
