All is right in the world.
So Susan Atkins finally dies, Roman Polanski is finally arrested for his rape of a 13 year old girl, and Eli Roth has been exposed for the creeper he is over at [livejournal.com profile] ohnotheydidnt.

To make things even better, here's Sharon Tate:

If Fassy directed Hostel, it would have been pleasant and charming. Instead of boobs and torture, there would be drive-by arguments and everything would be settled with a nice, firm handshake.

Oh, amen. I love horror, but Hostel's right up there with The Hills Have Eyes for me. I don't enjoy watching people puke in terror and pain. Even if they have nice boobs.

And Sharon was gorgeous. Such a shame.

Agreed! Horror fans these days are so desperate for the next great iconic horror film that the majority of them will gladly accept whatever crap is peddled to them as long as there's nudity and gore. I'll keep sticking to vintage horror and '80s nonsense instead.

Sharon showed great promise as an actress and I hope that more of her work will become readily available on DVD. Also, as creepy as it may be, a user on youtube once uploaded soundless home movies of Sharon, filmed by Roman. I ended up downloading them all before youtube pulled them and I still haven't watched them all the way through; there's something invasive and chilling about seeing this young woman with her friends and living her life.
But this is wonderful:

"Bursting with hope."
OMG, how sad.

Aw, I know. I do at least, enjoy seeing her being so candid. What I love about her interviews is how genuine and child-like she was; it's something I keep in mind whenever I come across anything pertaining to the Manson family.
