I don't know how true it is, but I have heard many a time that his Playgirl layout got him role as Flash, as the director was looking for an actor with a particular look and build and Sam was exactly what he wanted. I love that Sam wasn't afraid of nudity, either.

I'm going to have to spring for a new scanner, as I had bought some early '70s Playboy magazines with fantastic interviews with Peter Fonda and Dick Cavett.

Penthouse was awesome in the '70s and early '80s, as they had feature photoshoots to serve as illustrations for erotica stories, two of my favorites involving Nazis and a Blue Lagoon scenario.

Oh! Blue Lagoon is a big guilty pleasure of mine so I'd love to see that one.

I have a crush on Brooke from that movie actually, and it makes me feel icky because of her age. I tell myself that I was in my teens when I saw BL for the first time so it's not that wrong.

I'm terribly enamored with early '80s Brooke Shields, as I cannot believe someone could be that beautiful at such a young age, she was like an anomaly. And on top of that, she was genuinely innocent and non-sexual, which made her completely appealing.

um, yeah... sexy and much more so with dark hair. :)
