Image heavy. I did not photograph or scan these; I discovered them on a People magazine archive when I was searching for the exact article date online. Quick edit: I reformatted the images so the article is easier to read. I'm also thoroughly disgusted with the people who defended him; I think I'll google them and see what's become of them now.
Ted's friend, Carol Boone, later married him and they had a daughter while Ted was on death row. Their daughter is probably close to 20 years old now.

And just to clarify: People magazine was photographed entirely in black and white, excluding the cover and advertisements. The magazine switched over to full color come the 1990s.

Photographed at work, image-heavy. Most people react, understandably and sensibly, with horror when learning that Hitler was chosen by Time magazine as Man of the Year, 1939. I think the cover says it all, really.
