Oh, goodness, thank you ♥ It's become a terrible habit for me now, as I now look over their pictures and figure out way to photoshop them together, but it is nice to know that others appreciate it, too.

I'm fond of atmospheric, synth-y music (partly because of Michael Mann, as he utilizes that kind of music so beautifully in his films), so assembling fanmixes allows me to put some of my favorites to use.

You've been most helpful and I cannot believe how beautifully fitting All These Things That I've Done is! I had another song chosen, Shoot Your Gun by 22-20s, but the Killers were far more perfect.

I absolutely did! It was very perceptive of you and I am glad you brought it to my attention, as it helped shape the rest of the fanmix and inspired me to make the first graphic. I had to revisit IB from the projection booth scene and on to get the screencap necessary, and the gravity of it all led to sobbing. Obnoxious, scrunch-faced, hand-over-mouth sobbing.

Into Dust and Le Grand Secret are particularly affecting, I find. I am also in love with the range in Mike Patton's voice in Just A Man, which is such a Fredrick song.

Oh I love these so much, especially for the songs I've never heard of that become my new all time favorites. I've been playing the opening Vangelis track all day, so lovely. If I may make another request I'd love a Ripley/Hicks mix.

I love Vangelis and atmospheric, synth-y music; it's amazing the kind of emotions such music can evoke. Fanmixes (and other playlists I make) allow me to go over my music carefully and find a new appreciation for certain songs and then lead me to others.

nickytheapache was a wonderful help with her suggestion of All These Things That I've Done, as it's absolutely perfect. It was the last song addition to the fanmix and it gave me one last burst of inspiration. And of course, everything Muse does works for them, too, so I'd be a fool to leave them off.

I really like how that one turned out. I wanted to add something more to it, which led me to finding and downloading a brush set made out of Da Vinci's sketches.

Creating has always been my passion, and though I have my degree in graphic design, I've been working on more hands-on, mixed media kind of things; all of the graphics I've been making over the course of these months has been the first time in a long time that I've actively created digitally. I suppose I've never had characters and actors that have inspired me so much like this, which is quite nice. You can never dictate what your muse does, so when I'm inspired, I utilize it for all it's worth.

I love the Jesus and Mary Chain and they really do have a song for nearly every emotion and occasion. At the rate I'm going at, I'll probably have another fanmix organized in another few weeks (I'm very, very particular, so I probably take longer than necessary putting these things together).
